PARTICIPATION IN THE PCIA 2009 FORUM

The Partnership for Clean Indoor Air (PCIA) Forum 2009 was held from 23rd to 28th March 2009 at Kampala, Uganda. Speke Resort and Conference Center. On behalf of GEO, Dr. N. Sai Bhaskar Reddy participated and shared the esperiences of GEO, through discussions, presentation of 5 posters and a film about Magh-1 good stoves facilitation to the Chenchu tribals living in Nallamalai hills, Andhra Pradesh, India. Could also interact with about 250 participating organisations from all over the world. The Magh-1 good stoves was demonstrated as part of the exhibition of stoves. Requested Ms. Nordica, Aprovecho Research Center (USA) to take Magh-1 with her for testing it for efficiency. Visited a village Near Jinja about 80 kms from Kampala to see the existing stoves and interact with community.
