Open house is a concern for the homeless and poor people struggling to live in Hyderabad. The children / youth / woman / old people can cook their own food on the stoves and the ration provided, read the books available in the library and sleep. They were using LPG for cooking, recently LPG was short and could not be refilled. The youth trained on Magh-1 woodgas stove have used it for all their cooking needs for whole one day. They are happy and want to replace LPG and shift to Magh-1 woodgas stoves for cooking needs.
- The Open House was a great concept started by Surya Prakash Vinjamuri in Hyderabad. He wants to adopt the stoves designed by GEO for the many Open Houses he is planning.
